Common Queries, Clear Answers

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Who owns the book of business and my client expirations?

You do. 100% ownership.

2. How do I get carrier access, and whose name is on the policy?

·We walk member agents through the qualification process to obtain a direct appointment. Direct appointments are set up per carrier guidelines, minimum requirements, etc.

·Their agency name is on the dec page, if they write the business under their direct code.

·Our AccessPlus department operates as a "road to direct codes", assisting our member agents with building out their book of business to qualify for direct codes with larger minimum requirements.

·All members get access to all our partner carriers through AccessPlus day one.

3. Will the policies be issued in my agency's name or the aggregator's name?

Policies written under your direct codes will be issued with your agency's name on the dec pages.

4. Will I be required to use a specific agency management system (AMS) or other technology, and what is the cost?

No, but if you'd like suggestions and guidance we're more than happy to assist.

5. What is the actual value I will receive beyond carrier access?

We have a robust Education Department that offers instructor-led training and small class sizes. From Pre-Licensing to complex Commercial Lines. Please visit our Education Department's website for more information.

We also offer website building and printed marketing materials (e.g. business cards).
